As a SharePoint Consultant specialising in migrations, youll join our growing Consultancy Practice, working with customers to modernise and secure their digital workplaces.Youll focus on high-impact migration projects, including on-premises to SharePoint Online and tenant-to-tenant migrations, leveraging industry-leading tools such as AvePoint, ShareGate, or Quest. Alongside SharePoint, youll also work with a broad range of Microsoft 365 technologies, including Exchange, Teams, Entra ID, and Microsoft Purview compliance solutions.
This is a role where youll solve complex challenges, guide customers on their transformation journeys, and collaborate with a highly skilled team all while continuing to grow your own expertise through professional development and learning opportunities.
What you\’ll do
- Lead and deliver SharePoint migration projects (on-premises to SharePoint Online and tenant-to-tenant)
- Leverage migration tooling such as AvePoint, ShareGate, or Quest to deliver seamless transitions for customers
- Design and implement Microsoft 365 solutions across SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Exchange, Entra ID, and Microsoft Purview (DLP, Information Protection, Insider Risk, eDiscovery, Data Lifecycle Management)
- Analyse customer requirements, propose tailored solutions, and validate designs through customer workshops
- Act as a trusted Subject Matter Expert during presales engagements, helping shape winning solutions
- Guide and mentor junior colleagues to ensure successful delivery outcomes
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with customer stakeholders and Computacenter colleagues
- Stay current with Microsoft 365 advancements to bring new ideas and best practices into customer solutions
What you\’ll need
- Proven experience delivering SharePoint migrations (on-premises to SharePoint Online and tenant-to-tenant)
- Strong hands-on knowledge of migration tools such as AvePoint, ShareGate, or Quest
- Broad experience with Microsoft 365, including Exchange, Teams, Entra ID, and Microsoft Purview solutions
- Relevant Microsoft qualifications or accreditations
- Strong ability to design solutions and contribute to project, bid, and technical documentation
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage technical and business audiences alike
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team
- Strong time management, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
