Are you an experienced OpenShift Consultant or Architect with a passion for enterprise architecture, cloud-native platforms, and helping organisations modernise at scale? This is an exciting opportunity to become a recognised technical authority, shaping OpenShift strategy across some of the UK's most complex enterprise environments. You'll combine strategic consultancy, architectural governance, and customer engagement while influencing the future direction of our OpenShift capability.

You'll be joining a collaborative team of architects, consultants, and technical specialists delivering large-scale cloud transformation programmes across public and private sector customers. Working closely with customers, Red Hat, and internal stakeholders, you'll define best practices, shape enterprise architectures, and support major programmes spanning hybrid cloud, container platforms, and application modernisation.

What you'll do

  • Act as the technical authority for complex OpenShift and Kubernetes solutions
  • Define enterprise reference architectures, standards, and best practices across the practice
  • Lead architecture strategy for large-scale hybrid and multi-cloud transformation programmes
  • Provide governance and technical assurance across high-profile customer engagements
  • Support strategic pre-sales activities, major bids, and customer workshops
  • Advise senior customer stakeholders including CTOs, Heads of Engineering, and Platform Owners
  • Drive security, resilience, and operational best practice across OpenShift environments
  • Collaborate with Red Hat and internal teams to develop new propositions and reusable delivery assets
  • Mentor consultants and architects while helping grow the OpenShift practice
  • Stay at the forefront of cloud-native technologies and emerging industry trends

What you'll need

  • Extensive experience designing and delivering enterprise Red Hat OpenShift solutions
  • Expert knowledge of Kubernetes, container platforms, and hybrid/multi-cloud architectures
  • Strong consultancy and enterprise architecture experience within complex customer environments
  • Experience defining architecture standards, governance, and technical best practices
  • Proven ability to lead large-scale cloud transformation programmes
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging senior technical and business leaders
  • Experience supporting complex pre-sales engagements and strategic customer opportunities
  • A passion for mentoring technical teams and developing consultancy capability
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business outcomes

Desirable certifications include:

  • Red Hat OpenShift (EX280 essential, EX316/EX267 desirable, RHCA highly advantageous)
