Test Analyst

Hatfield – full-time on site

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Test Analyst to join the Test & Validation Management Team (TVM). The team’s objective is to protect customers’ IT environments from adverse impacts of releases (e.g., monthly Microsoft security patches) through testing of in-scope applications and services.

TVM manages the entire test lifecycle, from reviewing requirements, planning, executing tests, managing defects, to recommending releases.

The Test Analyst will be responsible for executing test activities, managing documentation, and reporting to ensure high standards of testing service.

What you’ll do

• Manage defects to resolution
• Create and maintain test cases
• Produce test plans, reports, and metrics
• Schedule testing activities and resources
• Monitor testing progress
• Maintain documentation across systems
• Ensure testing schedule approval
• Coordinate work across teams and locations
• Communicate with stakeholders
• Maintain SLAs and KPIs
• Comply with audit requirements
• Contribute to process and service improvements
• Perform duties as directed by the Test Manager

What you’ll need

• Proficiency with MS Office applications, especially Excel
• Strong communication skills (written and oral)
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Excellent organizational skills
• Attention to detail
• Self-motivated, able to work independently or in a team
