The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

You’ll be supporting and implementing release management services based at a customer site in Stevenage, in addition to this you will occasionally help support other ITIL processes.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage the end-to-end life cycle of release process that includes planning, scheduling (through stakeholder engagement, analysis, and participation) and associated release coordination activities.
  • Support the design and implementation of the release process and train other members of the team.
  • Provide support as an ITIL generalist, interfacing into our customers ITIL teams.
  • Provide change control support ensuring governance and compliance with our customer’s process.
  • Contribute to problem management by identifying trends, analysing root causes, and supporting resolution planning.
  • Participate in an on-call rota with the team, to assist with incident management if needed. Actual callouts would be rare, and this responsibility would include an additional standby payment with bonuses for public holidays.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Strong communication, decision making, pro-active and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • A background in release management.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Flexibility to participate in an on-call rota and respond to critical incidents when required.
