Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript.
- Create reusable, maintainable, and scalable automated test scripts for end-to-end, integration, and UI testing.
- Drive the adoption of automation best practices, coding standards, and framework design patterns across engineering teams.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Buildkite, Spinnaker, or similar platforms.
- Collaborate with Development, DevOps, Product, and QA teams to define test strategies and improve software quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex automation, testing, and integration challenges across multiple applications and services.
- Advocate for quality throughout the software development lifecycle by participating in planning sessions, design reviews, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Monitor test execution, maintain test coverage metrics, and communicate quality status to stakeholders.
- Continuously improve automation frameworks, testing processes, and overall quality engineering practices.
