JOB SUMMARY

The MRI Technologist operates MRI equipment to produce cross-sectional images of the body for diagnostic purposes as requested by physicians.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform MRI procedures accurately and efficiently.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during the examination.
  • Operate and maintain MRI scanners and associated equipment.
  • Prepare patients for MRI scans, including explaining the procedure and answering questions.
  • Administer contrast media as directed and according to protocol.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Adhere to all safety and infection control standards.
