We’re looking for a commercially driven Sales Executive to join our growing Sales team. This role is ideal for someone with solid B2B sales or business development experience who is ready to take more ownership of qualified opportunities, discovery conversations, demos, and early-stage commercial proposals. You’ll support Compuco’s outbound and inbound sales activity by identifying and engaging prospective clients, qualifying opportunities, running discovery conversations, supporting product demonstrations, and helping move opportunities through the sales pipeline. This role sits between a traditional SDR role and a full Sales Manager role. You’ll still be heavily involved in prospecting and lead generation, but you’ll also begin to own more of the sales process, including tailored follow‑up, opportunity planning, demo preparation, and proposal support.
Reporting to the Head of Sales and Marketing and working closely with the wider Growth team, you’ll help us build strong relationships with charities, membership organisations, and other purpose‑driven organisations looking to modernise their CRM, website, and digital operations.
What you’ll be doing:
- Research, identify, and engage prospective organisations through targeted outbound activity
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads through structured discovery conversations
- Prioritise leads based on potential value, strategic fit, timing, and client need
- Write tailored outreach and follow‑up messages that speak clearly to prospect challenges
- Book and support demos, progressing toward running demos independently
- Conduct early‑stage discovery calls to understand organisational goals, pain points, stakeholders, and decision processes
- Support more senior team members with product demonstrations, proposals, pricing, and statements of work
- Maintain accurate pipeline, activity, and prospect data within our CRM and internal systems
- Use data and CRM insights to manage follow‑ups, prioritise opportunities, and improve performance
- Collaborate with marketing and sales colleagues on campaign messaging, target accounts, and sector‑specific outreach
- Progress toward managing smaller sales opportunities independently from discovery through to close
What we’re looking for:
- Essential: A minimum of 3 years experience in a sales or business development role
- Essential: Experience prospecting, writing outreach, following up, qualifying interest, and maintaining momentum with early‑stage leads
- Essential: Experience supporting or working within a consultative sales process
- Essential: Confidence running or supporting discovery conversations with prospective clients
- Essential: A genuine interest in understanding and helping purpose‑driven organisations
- Essential: Experience using CRMs or sales engagement tools
- Desirable: Experience in an IT, SaaS, software, digital agency, CRM, or technology services sales environment
- Desirable: Experience supporting product demonstrations, proposals, or commercial quotes
What you’ll get from us:
- Flexible remote working, with access to our London HQ and a home equipment allowance
- Work from abroad for 1 month per annum
- Additional holiday for long‑standing team members, additional shutdown holiday days, birthday day off, and Summer Fridays
- Flexible hours options including a 4‑day week and a 9‑day fortnight
- Private Health Insurance
- Personal development allowance and paid time off to grow your skills
- Wellness day to support physical or mental health
- Two volunteer days per year for charitable activities
- A supportive, international team culture
- Meaningful work helping organisations create positive social impact
Details:
- Location: UK remote, hybrid, or London HQ
- Type: Permanent, full time
- Salary: £45k OTE
- Reporting to: Head of Sales and Marketing
