A big hello from the team at Compuco. At Compuco, we empower socially responsible organisations with the digital tools they need to build a better world. We partner with charities and membership organisations across their digital stack, helping them modernise processes using the latest AI enabled Website and CRM technology. We help purpose driven organisations reimagine the way they work so they can focus on impact. With our HQ in London and a team spread across the globe, Compuco brings together talented creatives, organisers, and engineers. You’ll join an open, collaborative culture where ideas are shared, voices are heard, and your work can make a real difference.

About the role

We’re looking for a commercially driven Sales Executive to join our growing Sales team. This role is ideal for someone with solid B2B sales or business development experience who is ready to take more ownership of qualified opportunities, discovery conversations, demos, and early-stage commercial proposals. You’ll support Compuco’s outbound and inbound sales activity by identifying and engaging prospective clients, qualifying opportunities, running discovery conversations, supporting product demonstrations, and helping move opportunities through the sales pipeline. This role sits between a traditional SDR role and a full Sales Manager role. You’ll still be heavily involved in prospecting and lead generation, but you’ll also begin to own more of the sales process, including tailored follow-up, opportunity planning, demo preparation, and proposal support. Reporting to the Head of Sales and Marketing, and working closely with the wider Growth team, you’ll help us build strong relationships with charities, membership organisations, and other purpose driven organisations looking to modernise their CRM, website, and digital operations.

What you’ll be doing

  • Research, identify, and engage prospective organisations through targeted outbound activity
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads through structured discovery conversations
  • Prioritise leads based on potential value, strategic fit, timing, and client need
  • Write tailored outreach and follow-up messages that speak clearly to prospect challenges
  • Book and support demos, progressing toward running demos independently
  • Conduct early-stage discovery calls to understand organisational goals, pain points, stakeholders, and decision processes
  • Support more senior team members with product demonstrations, proposals, pricing, and statements of work
  • Maintain accurate pipeline, activity, and prospect data within our CRM and internal systems
  • Use data and CRM insights to manage follow-ups, prioritise opportunities, and improve performance
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales colleagues on campaign messaging, target accounts, and sector‑specific outreach
  • Progress toward managing smaller sales opportunities independently from discovery through to close

What we’re looking for

  • Essential: A minimum of 3 years experience in a sales or business development role.
  • Essential: Experience prospecting, writing outreach, following up, qualifying interest, and maintaining momentum with early-stage leads.
  • Essential: Experience supporting or working within a consultative sales process.
  • Essential: Confidence running or supporting discovery conversations with prospective clients.
  • Essential: A genuine interest in understanding and helping purpose driven organisations.
  • Essential: Experience using CRMs or sales engagement tools.
  • Desirable: Experience in an IT, SaaS, software, digital agency, CRM, or technology services sales environment.
  • Desirable: Experience supporting product demonstrations, proposals, or commercial quotes.

You’ll be a great fit if you are:

  • A confident and thoughtful communicator.
  • Able to ask good questions and adapt your message to different stakeholders.
  • Highly organised and able to manage several prospects, opportunities, and next steps at once.
  • Commercially aware, but consultative rather than pushy.
  • Curious about technology, digital transformation, and how organisations operate.
  • Comfortable using data to prioritise activity and improve performance.
  • Proactive and resilient, with the motivation to create and sustain outbound activity.
  • Detail focused and disciplined in keeping CRM and pipeline information up to date.
  • Collaborative and comfortable working with marketing, sales, delivery, and product colleagues.
  • Motivated by meaningful work and helping purpose driven organisations create positive impact.

What you’ll get from us

Compuco offers a comprehensive suite of benefits designed to support employee wellbeing, professional growth, and flexibility. These include:

  • Flexible remote working, with access to our London HQ including home equipment allowance
  • Work from abroad for 1 month per annum
  • Additional holiday for long‑standing team members, additional shutdown holiday days, birthday day off, “Summer Fridays”.
  • Flexible hours options including 4 day week and 9 day fortnight
  • Private Health Insurance
  • Personal development allowance and paid time off to grow your skills
  • Wellness day to support physical or mental health
  • Two volunteer days per year for charitable activities
  • A supportive, international team culture
  • Meaningful work helping organisations create positive social impact

Details

  • Location: UK remote, hybrid, or London HQ
  • Type: Permanent, full time
  • Salary: £45k OTE
  • Reporting to: Head of Sales and Marketing
