Experienced Bench Joiner Location: Herne Bay, Kent Company: Comptons Kitchens Ltd Position: Full-Time Comptons Kitchens is a well-established, family-run kitchen company based in Kent, and we are looking for an experienced Bench Joiner to join our workshop team in Herne Bay. With three showrooms across Kent, we design, manufacture and install kitchens for customers throughout the county. A large part of our business is the manufacture of our own handmade, bespoke kitchens, which are individually designed and built for each customer s home. We re looking for a skilled joiner who takes genuine pride in their work and wants to become a long-term part of our team. The Role Working from our Herne Bay workshop, you will be involved in manufacturing bespoke kitchens and cabinetry from initial components through to the finished product. Your day-to-day work will include: Manufacturing bespoke kitchen cabinets and furniture Producing doors, frames, panels and other bespoke components Working with solid timber and sheet materials Reading and working accurately from drawings and cutting lists Using a range of traditional woodworking techniques Operating workshop machinery and hand tools Assembling and finishing cabinetry to a high standard Producing one-off and made-to-measure pieces Working closely with our designers, workshop team and kitchen fitters Maintaining a clean, organised and sa...
