Job Description

Location: Wolverhampton, WV3 9DH plus opportunity for Homeworking
Hours: 37.5 per week
Salary: £60,578 – £70,900 per year (Band 8b)
 
About Us:

Compton Care is a large hospice charity based in Wolverhampton and has been serving the Wolverhampton, wider Black Country, South Staffordshire and East Shropshire communities for over 40 years. It is a much beloved local charity raising around £12million per year itself to keep services going.
 
Our services are wide ranging and include an 18-bed inpatient unit, large comprehensive community services, Living Well services and a large medical team with training functions.
 
About the role:

We are looking for an innovative, experienced fundraising professional with a high degree of energy and personal commitment to lead our fundraising function.  You should have experience of leading teams, developing and delivering fundraising strategy, influencing internal and external stakeholders and be confident working with senior staff and trustees.
 
This is an exciting time to join Compton as we review all our existing strategic plans and develop comprehensive commercial direction for the organisation.
 
The hospice sector is also going through considerable change with an increased national focus on palliative care and hospice funding.
