Are you highly organised, confident working with payroll systems, and passionate about delivering excellent service to colleagues? We are looking for a Payroll Assistant to support the accurate and timely delivery of payroll, pension, and statutory processes. In this role, you will: Prepare and process payroll for a workforce of over 250 employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance at all times. Maintain payroll and pension records, ensuring all information is kept up to date and handled confidentially. Support pension administration, auto-enrolment processes, and statutory payments. Ensure payroll deadlines are met, and queries are resolved promptly and professionally. Protect confidential payroll and pension data, ensuring compliance with GDPR and data protection requirements. Provide excellent customer service and support to colleagues across the organisation. You will hold a relevant qualification and possess strong IT skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet
deadlines., Experience of processing payroll accurately and within agreed timescales. A good working knowledge of payroll legislation, HMRC requirements, pension administration, and auto-enrolment. Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to maintain clear and accurate records. A commitment to maintaining and developing technical knowledge through ongoing learning and training. Confidence in using payroll software, ideally Sage Payroll, together with Excel and CSV reporting.
