What You’ll Do: As an experienced Field Service Technician, your key responsibilities will include:
- Performing preventive and routine maintenance on a variety of air compressors (Rotary/Scroll/Piston).
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues efficiently to minimize customer downtime.
- Providing support and advice to clients, building trusted relationships.
- Installing, commissioning, and testing new equipment.
- Assembling and configuring new machinery.
- Utilising computer systems for diagnostics, record-keeping, and communication.
What We’re Looking For: The ideal candidate will have:
- Mechanical engineering/fitter qualifications (Essential requirement).
- Be 40 years old or under (Essential requirement).
- A minimum of 4 years' experience servicing and maintaining air compressors (Essential requirement).
- Proficiency with computers and digital diagnostic tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of clearly explaining technical information to customers.
- A valid UK driver’s license.
- Willingness to work away on-site when required (1-4 days per month).
- The motivation and flexibility to relocate to Australia; sponsorship will be provided.
