We are a fast‑growing global reinsurance specialty company servicing the insurance markets of Lloyd's, Europe and North America. We are seeking a qualified non‑life actuary to join our Actuarial team as a Reserving Actuary, playing a key role in delivering high‑quality reserving insights across a diverse portfolio of insurance and reinsurance liabilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead production of best estimate reserves across multiple portfolios reporting to Head of Reserving.
- Prepare and present quarterly reserving results to senior committees.
- Partner with Claims, Reinsurance, Finance and Data teams on portfolio reviews and onboarding of new acquisitions.
- Support the audit process for the Group and regulated entities.
- Play a central role in implementing our technology‑driven reserving transformation.
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified actuary with 4+ years GI reserving experience.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
- Proven collaboration skills and ability to manage multiple workstreams.
- Curious, innovative and comfortable driving change in a growing organisation.
- Proficiency in Excel and reserving software (e.g., ResQ); Python desirable.
- Lloyds or London Market experience is desirable.
- Contributing positively to our culture and values.
