We are a fast-growing global reinsurance speciality company servicing the insurance markets of Lloyd’s, Europe and North America. We’re looking for a commercially minded qualified actuary to support our global M&A activity and help deliver Compre’s growth ambitions.

Responsibilities

  • Working closely with Underwriting, Finance, Risk & Compliance and Actuarial teams, you’ll lead actuarial due diligence across acquisitions—assessing reserving, capital, pricing, valuation and deal structure.
  • You’ll manage multiple transactions, engage with cedants and external advisers, and oversee the transition of successful deals into the wider business.

Candidate requirements

  • Right to work in the location you’re applying to
  • 5+ years’ post-qual non-life insurance or reinsurance actuarial experience
  • Strong transaction due diligence and/or risk-based pricing expertise
  • Broad reserving knowledge, including liability lines
  • The commercial judgement to turn actuarial analysis into clear deal recommendations
  • Confident communication, relationship management and leadership skills
  • The ability to take ownership and deliver across competing priorities
  • Capital experience, including BSCR or Solvency II SCR, would be advantageous.
  • Contributing positively to our culture and values.
