We are a fast-growing global reinsurance speciality company servicing the insurance markets of Lloyd’s, Europe and North America. We are seeking a Capital Actuary to join our London team, reporting to the Head of Capital. This is a high-impact role supporting how the Group reports, manages and optimises capital across Bermuda, US and European regulated entities.

Responsibilities

  • You will be key to capital modelling and regulatory reporting (BSCR, SCR, RBC).
  • Support business planning and strategic transactions.
  • Deliver clear capital insights to senior management and Boards.
  • The role partners closely with Finance, Risk, Reserving, Treasury and M&A teams, contributing directly to capital optimisation, deal structuring and growth initiatives.

Candidate requirements

  • Fellow of a recognised actuarial body (IFoA, CAS).
  • 5+ years’ non-life/reinsurance experience with strong capital exposure.
  • Deep knowledge of Bermuda EBS or Solvency II (BSCR/SCR).
  • Experience with regulatory submissions (QRTs, ORSA/CISSA, FCR/SFCR).
  • Commercially minded, with strong communication and stakeholder skills.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency.
  • Contributing positively to our culture and values.
