We make pensions simpler for businesses and more engaging for employees, while working closely with accountants, payroll providers and other partners across the UK.

We’re growing our commercial team and looking for an ambitious Partnerships Specialist to join us in London.

The Role

You’ll work directly with our Chief Commercial Officer and founders to help grow Compound’s network of partners and employers.

You’ll be responsible for identifying new partnership opportunities, starting conversations, building relationships and helping turn those relationships into active Compound partners.

What you’ll be doing

  • Identifying and prospecting accountants, payroll bureaus and other potential partners
  • Outbound calling, emailing and LinkedIn outreach
  • Following up and qualifying inbound opportunities
  • Booking and running introductory partnership meetings
  • Understanding prospective partners and their clients
  • Introducing partners to Compound and our proposition
  • Managing your pipeline and follow-ups through our CRM
  • Supporting new partners through onboarding and activation
  • Building long-term relationships with our partner network
  • Working closely with the CCO, founders and wider Compound team to drive growth

What we’re looking for

  • Previous experience in B2B sales, business development, SDR/BDR or partnerships
  • Confident and comfortable speaking to new people on the phone
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ambitious, resilient and commercially minded
  • Organised with excellent follow-up
  • Coachable and keen to develop quickly
  • High level of ownership and initiative
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment

Experience in fintech, financial services, accounting, payroll or pensions is useful, but not essential.

Why Compound?

You’ll be joining Compound at an exciting stage of our growth and working directly alongside senior leadership to help build our partnership network.

This is an opportunity to do far more than simply book meetings. You’ll develop relationships, work directly with partners and have the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility as both you and Compound grow.
