We are a multi-award winning Animation & VFX company looking for an Illustrator / 2D Animator to join our growing team in-house in our Dalston studio 5 days a week in London on an initial 6 month contract.

Job purpose: To create illustrations and animation on a wide range of exciting projects including game cinematics, title sequences, and episodic TV series.

Candidate responsibilities and requirements:

  • The core task will be creating illustrations and animating.
  • It could be characters for a film or game trailer or illustrative environments for a title sequence, feature documentary animation.
  • We work with a wide range of styles so we are looking for someone who enjoys working in any or many styles!
  • If you like the range of work on our website you should be a great fit.
  • You will be working in a team with animators, motion designers, and FX artists.
  • Creating storyboards and animatics will be required.
  • Cel animation - it would be a bonus if you are comfortable working frame by frame.
  • You must be skilled in Adobe After Effects / Creative Cloud, TV Paint or Toon Boom Harmony.
  • Further skill sets like Procreate, Illustrator or Blender/Maya will be an advantage but not essential.
  • You must also be a team player, a problem solver, comfortable working to deadlines - and with good communication and organisational skills.
