Compost are looking for an Assistant Producer to join and work with us in house in Dalston, London on a range of exciting documentary, game trailer and film animation and motion graphics projects. We are a creative studio that covers a range of creative output, from photoreal VFX to motion graphics and animation work. As we are a small studio, the role requires the applicant to be able to cover lots of aspects of helping organise our work.
A few examples below:
- Collaborate closely with the current Production team and Creative Directors, team leads and the talented creative team, to play a central role in defining and shaping all creative output of the studio.
- You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the studio projects as sole Producer, manage clients and coordinate timelines and budgets.
- Output will be predominantly 3D / CGI, married with either 2D or live action or both.
- Helping to build our team, including searching and assisting in the hiring of new artists specific for particular roles, both for freelance contracted and permanent positions.
- Assist in the setup of shoots, casting, location scouting, assembly of small film crews and kit hire, ensuring COVID precautions are in place.
- Working with the team to help pitch and win work, and create project schedules.
- Working closely between clients and artists to make sure expectations are met and client feedback is addressed and artists are happy!
- Helping assist with the day-to-day running of projects and upkeep of the studio.
Please provide CV and outline any relevant experience. Knowledge of Google Sheets / Google Suite and Excel / Word publishing would be ideal, knowledge of editing software such as Premiere Pro would also be handy from time to time, any VFX or graphical software not necessary but would be considered a bonus.
