At Composite Integration, every system we design and manufacture helps shape industries including aerospace, renewable energy and marine. Our advanced resin mixing and dispensing technology supports the production of some of the world’s largest wind turbine blades, high-performance superyachts, and next-generation aircraft structures.

We are looking for a Sales Engineer to join our growing team and help manufacturers solve complex production challenges through innovative engineering solutions. This is a consultative, engineering-led sales role focused on understanding customer processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and developing tailored equipment solutions that improve efficiency, quality, and performance.

Working closely with customers and our internal engineering teams, you will support projects from initial enquiry through to proposal development and project commencement, building strong technical relationships with customers across the global composites industry.

The Role

This is more than a sales role – it’s an opportunity to become a trusted technical partner to customers. You will work closely with manufacturers across the composites industry to understand production processes, identify challenges, and develop tailored engineering solutions that improve efficiency, quality, and performance. From first enquiry through to project commencement, you will manage customer relationships, develop technical proposals and quotations, and work alongside our engineering team to bring solutions to life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Building relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Understanding manufacturing processes and technical requirements.
  • Developing bespoke equipment proposals and quotations.
  • Managing opportunities throughout the full sales cycle.
  • Working closely with engineering and technical teams to ensure feasibility and alignment with customer requirements.
  • Supporting product demonstrations, trials and Factory Acceptance Tests.
  • Attending customer visits, tradeshows and occasional international travel.
  • Monitoring market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Chemical or Materials Engineering, or similar.
  • Proven experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong communication skills and commercial awareness.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Confidence discussing technical solutions with customers.
  • A proactive, self-motivated attitude.
  • Desire to be part of a growing, ambitious business.
  • Willingness to travel (UK and Europe).
  • Experience in composites manufacturing, automation machinery, industrial equipment or process systems would be highly advantageous.

Our Culture

At Composite Integration, we believe there is always a better way. We live by three values: Be Approachable, Ask Questions, Own It. We are committed to creating a supportive environment where people can grow, take ownership and make a meaningful impact within the business.

What You Will Get

  • 30 days annual leave to start, plus an additional day per year of service (up to five additional days).
  • Westfield Healthcare cover including dental and wellbeing support.
  • China Fleet Country Club membership with access to gym, pool and facilities.
  • Enhanced sick pay at management discretion.
  • Regular social and team events.

This role offers the opportunity to become a key part of a growing, engineering-led business supporting manufacturers across global aerospace, renewable energy and marine sectors. You will gain exposure to advanced composites manufacturing technologies, international customers and complex engineering applications, while developing your technical and commercial capabilities within a supportive and ambitious team environment.
