<p>Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for composite fabrication? Do you possess the technical skills of a Composite Technician – need a break from the cold dark morning and evenings? then come Perth in Western Australia for 6 months, the weather is just warming up and we are located 15 minutes from the beach and cold beers. During the day you will be working on something far more exciting than slow cars that drive in circles.</p> <p>Composite Components is an <b>advanced composite fabrication business</b> specializing in cutting-edge manufacturing techniques. Our company is at the forefront of innovation with our products supplied internationally. We are committed to delivering high-quality products to our clients. Our projects are diverse, serving private industry, government and production companies nationwide.</p> <p>As a <b>Composite Fabrication Technician</b>, you will play a crucial role in our production process. Your responsibilities will include:</p> <ul><li><b>Composite Fabrication</b>: Utilizing your technical expertise to fabricate advanced carbon fiber, kevlar and glass fibre composite parts and assemblies. Proficiency is required in one or more composite fabrication techniques, including hand layup, vacuum bagging, compression moulding, oven curing, trimming, bonding and assembly of parts and the use of adhesives and pre-preg materials.</li> <li><b>Quality Control</b>: Ensuring that all products meet our high standards of quality and precision.</li> <li><b>Detail Orientation</b>: Paying attention to detail to ensure accurate and precise fabrication.</li> <li><b>General construction skills</b>: Skilled in working with a range of materials, with hand dexterity required for making precise and complex parts.</li> <li><b>CNC familiarity</b>: We make extensive use of 3D modelling programs, 2.5 axis cutter plotter, 3, 4 and 5 axis CNC routers and 3D printers, prior use of these would be advantageous but not essential. </li> <li><b>Collaboration</b>: Working closely with our awesome team to optimize production processes and achieve project goals.</li> <li><b>Safety Compliance</b>: Adhering to all safety protocols and maintaining a safe and chill working environment.</li> </ul><p>We are looking for someone who knows their way around a push tool with collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively within our growing team environment and have the physical strength, dexterity and general requirements required of the position. We offer competitive compensation packages, including salary commensurate with experience.
