About Comply Advantage

Comply Advantage is the financial industry’s leading source of AI-driven financial crime risk data and detection technology.

Our mission is to neutralize the risk of money laundering, terrorist financing, corruption, and other financial crimes.

More than 1,000 companies globally rely on us to navigate risk through the world’s only real-time database of people and companies.

Backed by Goldman Sachs, Ontario Teachers’, Index Ventures, and Balderton Capital, we have raised over $100M to date.

After growing our team by 40% last year, we are scaling from 500 to 600+ people - and our SDR team is the engine behind that growth.

The role

This is a people-leadership role first.

As Head of Business Development for EMEA, you own the outbound business development (BDR) function across the region — hiring, developing, and leading a team of BDRs whose job is to generate qualified pipeline for our new-business sales organization.

You will set the outbound strategy, build the ramp and coaching systems that make reps successful, and create the career pathways that turn strong BDRs into future account executives.

Your success is measured by the performance, retention, and progression of the team you build — and by the quality of pipeline they generate for the business.

  • What you’ll do
  • Lead and coach the team.

Run daily coaching, call reviews, and 1:1s that raise the performance of every BDR — developing outbound craft, resilience, and commercial judgment across the group.

  • Own the hiring bar. Run a structured, competency-based interview process, and keep a bench of talent ahead of demand so the team can scale without dropping quality.
  • Design onboarding and ramp. Build and run a structured 90-day onboarding program with clear milestone gates, so new hires reach full productivity faster.
  • Build career pathways.

Maintain a competency framework with assessable junior and senior behaviors, and create clear BDR-to-AE progression that helps you attract and retain ambitious reps.

  • Set the outbound strategy.

Define account prioritization, ideal-customer-profile targeting, messaging, and multi-channel sequencing across EMEA, in partnership with Sales and Marketing.

  • Own pipeline generation. Carry the team’s qualified-pipeline target, forecast opportunities into the new-business funnel, and use data to diagnose and fix what is not working.
  • Partner across the business. Work with Revenue Operations on tooling, routing, reporting, and compensation design, and align closely with Marketing on account-based programs.
  • Report on performance. Give sales leadership a clear, evidence-based view of team health, ramp, and pipeline contribution.

Proficient with

  • Cognism
  • Salesforce
  • Sales Nav
  • Clay
  • Building multi-outreach
  • Insights into performing channels
  • What you’ll bring

People-management experience is essential.

We are looking for someone with a strong track record of managing an outbound BDR or SDR team — you have hired, coached, and retained reps and led a team to target, not only carried a number yourself.

  • Team leadership. Proven experience leading and developing outbound BDRs/SDRs, with a genuine interest in growing people and a record of moving reps into more senior roles.
  • Building the function. Experience designing or scaling onboarding, ramp, coaching, and performance frameworks — not just running the ones you inherited.
  • Outbound craft. Strong command of prospecting, multi-channel sequencing, and qualification (MEDDIC or a similar framework), with the ability to teach it.
  • Data fluency. Comfortable in Salesforce and reporting tools, using metrics to manage a team, forecast pipeline, and make decisions.
  • Commercial background. Experience selling or generating pipeline in B2B Saa S; exposure to Reg Tech, Fin Tech, financial services, or compliance is an advantage.
  • The right blend. The emotional intelligence to develop people, and the operational rigor to run a team at scale across multiple markets.
  • Nice to have
  • Experience building or managing teams across multiple EMEA markets.
  • Familiarity with anti-money laundering (AML), sanctions, or wider financial crime compliance.
  • Experience partnering with Marketing on account-based experience (ABX) or account-based marketing (ABM) programs.
  • How we work

Our values shape how this team operates, and we hire for them

  • Make a safer world. The work matters — we help stop the movement of funds that fuel serious crime.
  • Raise the bar. We hold a high standard for ourselves and each other, and we keep getting better.
  • See it, own it, drive it forward. We take ownership and follow through.
  • Win as one team. We succeed together, across functions and regions.
