We are looking for an ambitious and talented Financial Accountant to join our UK Finance Team. This is a great role for someone who is looking to develop their accounting skills and learn from a highly skilled and motivated team in a fast-paced SaaS Technology environment. This role is important in our Finance team, and you will play a key part in ensuring the financial records of the Group are accurate, complete, and reliable.
What you will be doing:
- Perform month-end accounting activities, including preparation of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and profit and loss analysis.
- Support the implementation of new finance systems, including the development and embedding of new controls and processes.
- Assist with the annual statutory financial audit, including preparation of supporting documentation and responding to audit queries.
- Oversee cash reporting for the business, including preparation of weekly cash flow forecasts and liaising with banking partners.
- Gain exposure to FX hedging, including forecasting currency requirements, contributing to hedging strategies, and supporting the implementation of the company’s hedging policy.
- Support tax reporting across the group, including VAT, UK corporation tax, and US taxes.
- Prepare technical accounting papers and support the implementation and maintenance of financial accounting policies.
- Collaborate with wider Finance teams and key stakeholders, including senior management, to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
- Contribute to ad-hoc tasks and drive continuous process improvement initiatives.
About you:

- 2+ years of relevant experience in a similar fast-paced environment.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Good Excel/Google Sheets skills.
- Part-qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA.
- Numerical degree.
