The Role
We are looking for a talented and detailâdriven Director of User Experience (UX) to join our growing product and design team. As Director, you will play a critical role in creating visually compelling, userâfriendly interfaces that enhance the usability and experience of our software products. You'll manage a team of product designers while contributing handsâon to projects across the product lifecycle and refine our approach and processes around product design and research. Working in close partnership with product managers, business analysts, and engineers, you'll be responsible for translating wireframes and user journeys into pixelâperfect visual designs and design systems that scale. You'll bring a userâfirst mindset to everything you do, ensuring our products are intuitive, accessible, and onâbrand across all platforms.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of product designers across multiple product lines
- Collaborate with product managers and business analysts to translate user research and wireframes into intuitive, modern, and accessible interface designs
- Create and maintain scalable design systems, style guides, and component libraries that support consistency across products
- Provide design specifications, assets, and documentation to support smooth developer handoff
- Apply best practices in UI design, interaction design, and visual hierarchy to produce thoughtful and effective user experiences
- Participate in design reviews and usability evaluations, incorporating feedback to continuously improve designs
- Stay current on UI/UX trends, design tools, and emerging technologies to elevate the quality and relevance of our products
- Champion user experience through data analytics, user research, accessibility best practices, and continuous iteration
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in UI or visual design for digital products, preferably in a B2B SaaS or enterprise software environment
- 1+ years of experience in a leadership or team management role
- Proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping platforms
- Demonstrated experience designing intuitive web applications solving complex customer problems
- Experience collaborating within crossâfunctional agile teams and adapting designs based on feedback and feasibility
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate design decisions and advocate for the user
- A strong portfolio showcasing highâquality UI work, design systems, and attention to detail
