PH Water & Air Technologies is recruiting a Lead Small Works Plumber within their Water Hygiene/Water Treatment Division. You’ll need to be fully conversant with HSG274/ACOP L8 guidelines as your experience working within the Water Hygiene/Water Treatment sector will be fully utilised. You’ll work closely with colleagues on various sites in and around London, so if you reside no more than a two-hour commute into London, this would be ideal.
What you receive for joining us:
- We offer a competitive salary of £28,000 to £32,000 per annum, depending on experience.
- 25 days holiday per year, plus Bank Holidays.

- Lots of overtime available, equating up to £12,000 per annum.
Here’s a look at some of the things you’ll be doing:
- Conduct visual inspections of water systems, including water sampling and analysis of closed systems using a site test kit.
- Inspect and service thermostatic mixer valves (TMVs).
- Carry out chemical dosing of water systems.
- Perform cleaning and disinfection of pipework systems, cold-water storage tanks, and cooling towers in accordance with BS 8558:2011.

- Demonstrates mechanical aptitude, technical ability, and some plumbing experience.
- Positive attitude, enthusiasm for the company and role, and ability to work unsupervised while overcoming challenges.
- Confidently discusses technical issues and accurately records detailed engineer’s reports and logbooks.
- Capable of physical work (lifting, carrying, climbing) and holds a full UK driving license.
