At Logic Fire & Security, we're continuing to grow, and we're looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our Projects team based at our Head Office in Knaresborough. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a varied portfolio of fire and security installation projects, working with our engineers, subcontractors, clients, and senior management to deliver high-quality projects safely, on time, and within budget.

We're looking for a Project Manager who can manage installation works from start to finish, ensuring every project meets the needs of our clients while maintaining the high standards Logic is known for. You'll be responsible for planning resources, coordinating engineers and subcontractors, managing budgets and timescales, and ensuring works are completed safely, professionally, and in line with relevant industry standards and regulations.

You will play a pivotal role within our Operations team, providing clear direction to our Installation Engineers and trusted subcontractors while building strong relationships with clients and site teams. From day one, you'll work closely with the Operations Director and Project Coordinator to keep projects moving, resolve challenges, maintain productivity, and ensure every installation is completed to the required quality and commercial expectations.

What you receive for joining us:

  • Competitive salary including 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays
  • An additional day off for your birthday
  • A collaborative and supportive working environment
  • The opportunity to take ownership of projects within an established fire and security business while being part of the wider Complii Group

Here is a look at some of the things you will be doing:

  • Managing installation projects from start to finish, planning priorities, resources, materials, and equipment to ensure works are delivered safely, to a high standard, within agreed timescales and budgets, and against required KPIs
  • Leading and developing the Installation Team and trusted subcontractors, providing clear direction on programme and standards, maintaining regular communication and site visits, and ensuring consistently high levels of workmanship and productivity
  • Managing project health, safety, and compliance requirements, including producing risk assessments, method statements, and programmes of works, briefing engineers, holding site safety meetings and toolbox talks, and ensuring company procedures and relevant industry standards are followed
  • Building strong relationships with clients and site management, providing regular progress updates, resolving issues, managing project handovers and final sign-off, and maintaining accurate forecasts of monthly invoicing potential

Can you show experience in some of these areas?

  • Previous experience managing installation projects within construction site and end-client environments, with the ability to coordinate multiple projects, resources, engineers, and subcontractors while consistently meeting deadlines and agreed standards
  • Strong technical knowledge of fire and security systems and the relevant regulations and standards, with the ability to apply that knowledge to ensure installations are delivered safely, professionally, and to the required level of quality
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills, with the ability to provide clear direction, build effective relationships with clients and colleagues, negotiate confidently, and contribute positively as part of a wider management team
  • A commercially aware and solutions-focused approach, with experience of budget control, project reporting and forecasting, combined with excellent attention to detail, logical thinking, and the ability to adapt and solve problems in a fast-moving project environment

If you feel you have the skills and drive to make an impact, even if you don't meet every requirement above, we'd still love to hear from you.
