We're looking for a capable and motivated Fire & Security Engineer to join our growing team at Tay Fire & Security. If you reside within Scotland's Central Belt or surrounding areas, this could be the ideal opportunity for you. What you receive for joining us:

- This is a 40-hour per week, field-based regional role covering Scotland, with frequent travel and occasional attendance at our Nottingham Head Office.
- Accommodation and expenses will be paid when working away, and any required training will be provided for the right candidate.
Here's a look at some of the things you'll be doing:
- Providing servicing, maintenance, remedial works and installations across fire detection systems, emergency lighting, portable fire extinguishers, intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems.
- Working on both large and small installation projects, ensuring customer requirements are understood, communicated clearly, and delivered efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer service.
- Delivering customer training and system demonstrations, educating users on the causes and implications of false alarms, and providing support as required.
- Working proactively and safely on your own or as part of a team, adhering to health and safety requirements and British Standards, while participating in the out-of-hours call-out rota and telephone support schedule.
Can you show experience in some of these areas?
- A minimum of 2 years' experience within the fire and security industry, with knowledge of relevant systems and manufacturers, excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a commitment to delivering high standards.
- A full UK driving licence, and willingness to travel throughout Scotland with occasional overnight stays.
- Experience working with fire detection systems, emergency lighting, portable extinguishers, intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems.
- Desirable qualifications and experience including emergency lighting and extinguisher maintenance, FIA Foundation Modules, IPAF, PASMA, Asbestos Awareness, and Working at Height certifications.
