We're looking for a Configuration Analyst who can translate approved business and functional requirements into effective system configuration, working closely with our Product Manager, business stakeholders, and super users. You'll support everything from day-to-day configuration and second-line support through to new business implementations, data migration, process improvement, and documentation, helping us continually improve how Simpro is used across Complii.

What you receive for joining us:

Here is a look at some of the things you will be doing:

  • Managing approved setup and configuration changes across Complii's Simpro environments, translating business and functional requirements into practical system configuration while ensuring business-specific requirements and approved exceptions are appropriately documented and aligned with the wider solution
  • Supporting the implementation of Simpro into new businesses across the Group, assisting with configuration, data migration and imports, process changes, and implementation activities to help establish consistent and effective ways of working
  • Providing second-line Simpro support, investigating and resolving configuration-related issues, working with super users and stakeholders to identify practical solutions, and escalating more complex or architectural decisions to the Product Manager where required
  • Developing and sharing Simpro knowledge and best practice across the business, maintaining clear process, configuration, and support documentation while identifying opportunities to optimise system use, improve processes, and make greater use of Simpro’s existing capabilities

Can you show experience in some of these areas:

  • Experience working with business systems in a configuration, application support, systems analyst, or similar role, with a strong understanding of system configuration, business processes, and operational workflows and the ability to translate requirements into practical solutions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience investigating application or configuration issues, managing competing priorities, and maintaining excellent attention to detail within a changing and fast-growing business environment
  • Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to work effectively with business stakeholders, super users, and technical teams and clearly document processes, configuration decisions, exceptions, and support guidance
  • Previous experience with Simpro or a similar field service management platform would be advantageous, particularly alongside experience supporting system implementations, acquisitions, data migrations, standardised operating models, or continuous improvement initiatives

If you feel you have the skills and drive to make an impact, even if you don't meet every requirement above, we'd still love to hear from you.

How to prepare for a job interview at Complii

Brush Up on Your Coding Skills

For a full-time software engineering role, it's crucial that we stay sharp with our coding abilities. Expect technical questions that might involve solving problems on the spot or discussing algorithms. Practise on platforms like LeetCode or HackerRank to get comfortable with the types of questions that often come up.

Know Your Tools and Frameworks

Make sure we’re well-acquainted with the tools and technologies listed in the job description. Familiarise ourselves with any specific frameworks or programming languages mentioned. If Complii uses React or Node.js, for instance, be ready to discuss how we’ve used them in previous projects or coursework.

Showcase Your Projects

Bring along a portfolio that highlights our best work. This could be code samples, GitHub repositories, or any side projects we’ve built. Make sure we can talk through our thought process for each project, especially the challenges we faced and how we solved them—this shows our problem-solving skills in action.

Prepare for Behavioural Questions

While technical skills are key, full-time positions also require cultural fit. Be ready to discuss our previous experiences and how we handle teamwork, conflict, and deadlines. Brush up on the STAR method—Situation, Task, Action, Result—to clearly articulate our past experiences when discussing how we've contributed to a team.
