We have been appointed by our Client, a small friendly niche consulting firm, looking for a Trainee Compliance Administrator to join their team. Reporting directly to the Directors in a mix of administrative & technical responsibilities, duties will include:
- Submitting regulatory returns
- Carrying out compliance monitoring and analysing all findings
- Maintaining logs & registers
- Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence professionally and efficiently
- Maintaining compliance databases, CRM systems, document libraries, and filing systems
- Creating and managing spreadsheets, presentations, reports, and business documents
- Coordinating diaries, meetings, appointments and follow-up actions for team members
- Preparing professional communications, reports, and presentations using Microsoft Office, Canva and AI-assisted tools
You should have had at least a few months work experience in Financial Services (whether Administration, CDD/KYC, Operations or Sales) with an interest in Compliance & Regulation. Any previous Compliance related experience is useful (e.g. CDD/KYC, Complaints handling etc) but more important is attention to detail & strong IT ability combined with good communication skills (as there will be direct client contact).
This is a small friendly firm fully remote, who offer full training in Compliance in their niche area of retail financial services, don’t micro-manage and if you work well and hard, then have a history of promoting quickly. Great opportunity to break into the interesting & secure area of Compliance.
NB you don’t need to be a graduate (though welcome to apply if you are) but you must be happy with performing routine admin work as well as technical work and be based in England or Wales (with full UK working rights) as there are quarterly team meetings or attendance at conferences in person, normally in the South of England.
