The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
We are recruiting for our client, a leading Financial Services Group, to hire an experienced Cass Specialist with strong CASS knowledge, particularly CASS 6, 7 and 8. The role involves managing a small team and includes the following responsibilities:
- Support the design and implementation of a first line CASS oversight function within operations
- Support operations in delivering strategic goals for process improvement
- Support the business on CASS technical query escalations
- Prepare and deliver CASS adherence reports/opinion to the Executive Team and the Board
- Liaise with and advise the relevant teams on their regulatory CASS activities such as reconciliations, cash management, deposit allocations
- Undertake trend analysis on breaches and near misses, providing guidance and suggesting process revisions where appropriate
- Maintain skills and knowledge to adhere to the training and competence standards, undertake overseer activities as nominated
- Work closely with the 2nd line risk and compliance function in managing changes to the CASS regulatory environment
- Complete weekly, monthly and annual review of CASS breach log and risk profiling, including reviews of CASS risk appetite and RAG ratings
- Provide CASS SME support as required for change programmes and propositional change
- Produce and maintain CASS policies/frameworks as required
- Feed into CMAR submission and handle any escalations arising
You should have strong CASS experience and knowledge, particularly CASS 6, 7 & 8. This is a great opportunity to join a rapidly expanding company at an exciting time with plenty of opportunities for internal progression. The role is 2–3 days per week in our Bath office, a 4 minute walk from the station.
