Our client, an expanding European Insurance Carriers Group, is now looking for set up in the UK.
Duties include:
- Liaise with EU based Head Office & Compliance team to understand background of group’s activities & needs
- Help plan the Authorisation Project including setting milestones
- Carry out all regulatory liaison with the PRA & FCA
- Prepare all required internal documentation regarding manuals, policies & procedures etc
- Prepare all Authorisation forms and handle all queries
- If time especially once forms submitted, assist in other aspects of the wider group's compliance projects
- Once authorised take on the SMF 16 & 17 Part Time (if able & willing – if not, assist in process of recruiting such)
You should have experience in General Insurance and previously have handled at least one FCA & PRA Authorisation. Also, as their first UK hire, you should have an entrepreneurial approach to help drive this important expansion for the Group. Immediate start if possible.
NB: Whilst remote, need to be a UK citizen able to attend the odd meeting in London if ever needed.
