THE COMPANY:
Our client is a leading wealth management firm that have been supporting private clients and high net worth individuals for over 50 years.
THE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Establish and maintain strong knowledge of Onboarding practices and regulatory requirements within the team
- Maximise the adoption of Onboarding \’best-practices\’ through constant interaction with peers, clients and industry bodies
- Attend relevant project meetings and committees
- Monitor ongoing project work to ensure all aspects are completed within the required timeframes
- Participate in systems testing relevant to on-boarding new clients
- Monitor daily workflows within the team to ensure both regulatory and internal deadlines are met
- Check and authorise of daily tasks within the team and assist with the processing as and when required
- Provide technical assistance within the team and to other members of staff as needed
- Review and monitor processes within the department and implement improvements where needed
- Assist with cross training of junior staff within the department
- Ensure that any staff related issues are promptly dealt with or escalated to the Manager
- Work within the regulatory and the Firm’s compliance framework
- Ensure that the firm’s clients and staff are always treated fairly and responsibly, with respect and consideration
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Experience of working in Wealth management/Investment business
- Sound technical knowledge of all practices and procedures relevant to on-boarding new clients including understanding of KYC and AML documentation
- Practical experience of: anti-money laundering, enhanced due diligence, adverse information, remediation and review
- Periodic KYC review experience
- Experience of monitoring and checking workflows across a team
- 5 years+ relevant industry experience and KYC Onboarding experience from wealth management industry
