THE COMPANY: Our client is a leading wealth management firm that has been supporting private clients and high net worth individuals for over 50 years.
THE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Establish and maintain strong knowledge of Onboarding practices and regulatory requirements within the team.
- Maximise the adoption of Onboarding 'best-practices' through constant interaction with peers, clients and industry bodies.
- Attend relevant project meetings and committees.
- Monitor ongoing project work to ensure all aspects are completed within the required timeframes.
- Participate in systems testing relevant to onboarding new clients.
- Monitor daily workflows within the team to ensure both regulatory and internal deadlines are met.
- Check and authorise daily tasks within the team and assist with processing as required.
- Provide technical assistance within the team and to other members of staff as needed.
- Review and monitor processes within the department and implement improvements where needed.
- Assist with cross-training of junior staff within the department.
- Ensure that any staff-related issues are promptly dealt with or escalated.
- Work within the regulatory and the Firm's compliance framework.
- Ensure that the firm's clients and staff are always treated fairly and responsibly, with respect and consideration.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Experience of working in Wealth management/Investment business.
- Sound technical knowledge of all practices and procedures relevant to onboarding new clients including understanding of KYC and AML documentation.
- Periodic KYC review experience.
- Experience of monitoring and checking workflows across a team.
- 5 years+ relevant industry experience and KYC Onboarding experience from the wealth management industry.
