Our client is a dynamic, FCA-Regulated Mortgage Broker. They are seeking an experienced and proactive Head of Compliance to join their team and take ownership of the compliance framework.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a compliance role within financial services, preferably in mortgage broking or mortgage advice
  • Strong working knowledge of FCA regulations, particularly MCOB, Consumer Duty, SYSC, and DISP
  • Proven experience conducting mortgage file reviews and compliance monitoring
  • Understanding of mortgage products, advice processes, and suitability assessments
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify risks and recommend practical solutions
  • Strong written communication skills for producing clear, professional compliance reports and guidance
