Our services cover a diverse range of UK pests, including bird control, rodents, cockroaches, bed bugs, and more. We also offer thorough auditing and field biologist inspection services, ensuring compliance with industry standards like BRCGS and SALSA. Our technical staff hold advanced qualifications, ensuring professional and effective pest prevention for all client needs.
This is a full-time on-site role for a Pest Control Technician based in South Wales. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing professional pest control services, including inspections, treatments, and follow-up visits for commercial, food, industrial, and residential clients. Day-to-day tasks include implementing integrated pest management solutions, maintaining service records, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and health and safety regulations. Candidates will also communicate effectively with clients, offering advice and recommendations on pest prevention measures.
Main duties:- Inspect customer premises and compile detailed reports on status of premises on levels of pest infestation.
- Organise and undertake a programme of treatments to control pests.
- Problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach.
- Write reports on all inspections undertaken to include details of treatment.
- Undertake minor proofing works to prevent pest infestation.
- Sell new and additional work as opportunities arise.
- Attend training to develop relevant knowledge and skills.
- Familiarity with Pest Control, Integrated Pest Management, and PEST practices.
- Strong skills in communication and the ability to interact effectively with clients.
- Experience or knowledge in pest management for BRCGS level clients advantageous.
- Minimum RSPH /BPCA Level II, or III required.
- 3 years minimum experience desired.
- Full UK driving license is required.
- Problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach.
- Have a full, valid UK drivers licence.
- Competent written & verbal communication skills.
- Excellent communication skills and be confident dealing with customers at all levels.
- Ability to work on your own initiative.
