PH Water & Air Technologies is looking for an Assistant Water Hygiene Engineer to join our expanding team. If you’re based in Guilford, Basingstoke, Reading, Woking, Camberley, Farnham, or Aldershot this would be ideal as our geographical areas are far and wide.
As an Assistant Water Hygiene Engineer, you’ll work alongside an experienced Engineer learning on the job as you go. Your desire to develop a long-term career within the Water Treatment/Hygiene sector is paramount to us.
What you receive for joining us:
- Competitive salary between £26,000 and £27,000 per annum, depending on experience

- Working 40 hrs per week plus overtime
- Weekend availability will be required from time to time
Here’s a look at some of the things you’ll be doing:
- Temperature monitoring of tap outlets and tanks/cylinders
- Visual inspections of water systems
- Inspection and servicing of thermostatic mixer valves
- Logbook navigation and use of electronic paperwork systems including completion of electronic forms
- Water sampling, analysis of closed systems using a site test kit, cooling tower analysis, and water feature analysis
- Sampling and cleaning and disinfections (C&Ds)
- Cleaning and disinfection of shower heads, descaling and internal inspections of water heaters
- Chemical dosing, and cleaning and disinfections of pipework systems, cold water storage tanks, and cooling towers in accordance with BS 8558:2011
- Ensuring all tasks are completed in line with industry standards including BS 8558:2011, while maintaining accurate electronic and manual records for compliance and audit purposes
