The role we’re hiring for is a Lead Water Hygiene Small Works Engineer to join our team. If you reside in the Guilford, Basingstoke, Farnham, Woking Camberley, Reading or Aldershot areas this would be ideal as we have client sites in a wide and varied geographical area. This role will see you leading the small works engineering duties whilst mentoring and supporting an assistant. A proven background of working as a Water Hygiene Engineer is required along with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude. What you receive for joining us: We’re looking to offer a salary starting at £30,000 to £35,000 per annum. In addition, we offer a company pension and healthcare, accrued hours scheme, financial loyalty bonus, working 40hrs per week Monday to Friday (shift work) and 33 days holiday per year including Bank Holidays. Overtime is available at weekends too. Here’s a look at some of the things you’ll be doing: Cleaning and disinfection of shower heads Descaling & internal inspections of water heaters Cleaning & disinfections of pipework systems, cold water storage tanks and cooling towers Taking the lead in all remedial works Can you show experience in some of these areas: Previous Water Hygiene Engineering experience is required and the ability to demonstrate mechanical aptitude and technical ability A positive attitude & enthusiasm about the company and the job role The ability to work as part of a team. A Full UK driving license is required Capable of physical work, lifting, carrying and climbing. Flexibility with hours, location. Some works require out of hours working or overnight stays.
