The role we’re hiring for is a PAT Tester who will join our team based in the Sussex/Surrey area. If you have experience in PAT testing, we’d love to hear from you. While a City & Guilds 2377 qualification is preferred, it’s not essential as we provide in-house training. If you’re passionate about pursuing a career in PAT testing, we’d still like to hear from you. We value your ability to conduct thorough, compliant PAT testing and your commitment to offering professional, friendly service to our clients. A full UK driving license and use of your own vehicle are required, and DBS/security checks will be carried out. Occasional weekend work may be needed depending on business requirements.

Here’s a look at some of the things you’ll be doing:
- Perform electrical testing and inspection of portable appliances to ensure that each item is safe to use, make fuse changes, plug replacements and re-terminations where necessary
- Microwave Emissions testing is also required
- Data submission is an integral part of the role, and all appliance testing must be done under the Code of Practice, 5th edition
- Must be happy to travel, manage your time effectively and provide a first-class client service
Can you show experience in some of these areas:
- Ideally, you’ll be qualified in City and Guilds 2377 or equivalent; if not, training will be provided
- Have basic electrical knowledge and clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
- Be able to work independently or as part of a team
- Professional approach to work is a must with a strong desire to work efficiently and thoroughly
