The role were hiring for is a Fire & Security Engineer to join our team based in the West Midlands . You will be responsible for carrying out maintenance on fire and security systems for our clients. This is a new opportunity to lead the service and maintenance and we welcome interest from candidates who have a track record of operations in Fire & Security systems. What you receive for joining us: Were looking to offer a salary of £30,000 – £40,000 for this role and are open to candidates of various levels. In addition, we offer a company van, 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays) plus your birthday off as an additional day, and if it falls on a weekend you can take this on a Friday or Monday, paid travel and overtime rates paid up to double rates, as well as a quarterly bonus scheme. Heres a look at some of the things youll be doing: Regular routine servicing and repairs of various fire alarm systems, and other associated systems. Reactive calls and repairs to a high standard aiming for first time fix Ensuring high-standard service inspections are performed within agreed timescales Completing detailed and accurate reports using app technology and ensuring that an accurate and high standard of company documentation is maintained. Can you show experience in some of these areas: Minimum 2 years experience in fire and security systems, but if you have less, please do still apply, we would like to speak to you regardless An understanding of relevant British Standards, in particular clauses relating to servicing, maintenance Notifier training desirable but training can be given for the right candidate Full UK driving licence is essential Do you see yourself reflected in the description above?
