HGV CLASS 2 DRIVER MULTI-DROP DELIVERY / SOUTHAMPTON
We are recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 (Category C) Drivers for a well-established logistics operation based in Southampton. This role involves multi-drop deliveries of kegs and beverage supplies to pubs, restaurants and hotels.
This is a Temp to Perm opportunity offering consistent weekday work with immediate starts available.
- Role: HGV Class 2 Driver (Category C)
- Contract Type: Temp to Perm
- Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday
- Start Time: Between 5:00 am and 7:00 am
- Hours: Average 10-hour shifts
- Driver's Mate Provided
PAY
Standard Rate Weekday (MonFri)
- Basic Hourly Rate: £16.76
- Working Time Regulations (WTR): £2.28
- Total Hourly Pay (Inclusive): £19.04
- Overtime: Not applicable
- Weekend Work: Not required
- Pay Frequency: Weekly
RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES
- Completing multi-drop deliveries.
- Delivering kegs and beverage supplies to pubs, restaurants and hotels.
- Working alongside a Driver's Mate.
- Using a sack barrow and pump truck to assist with deliveries.
- Ensuring all deliveries are accurate and accounted for.
- Conducting daily vehicle checks.
- Maintaining professional communication with customers and the transport team.
EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
- Valid CPC Card. xsabvtc
- Digital Tachograph Card.
