We are recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 (Category C) Drivers for a well-established logistics operation based in Heston. This role involves multi-drop deliveries of kegs and beverage supplies to pubs, restaurants and hotels. This is an ongoing opportunity offering consistent weekday work with immediate starts available.
Role: HGV Class 2 Driver (Category C)
Contract Type: Temporary / Ongoing
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday
Start Time: 06:00 AM
Hours: Approximately 45 hours per week
PAY
- Standard Rate Weekday (Mon-Fri) Basic Hourly Rate: £17.55
- Holiday Pay (Rolled Up): £2.45
- Total Hourly Pay (Inclusive): £20.00
- Overtime: Not applicable
- Weekend Work: Not required
- Pay Frequency: Weekly
RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES
- Completing 12-18 deliveries per shift
- Delivering kegs and beverage supplies to pubs, restaurants and hotels
- Working alongside a driver's mate
- Using a sack barrow and pump truck to assist with deliveries
- Ensuring all deliveries are accurate and accounted for
- Conducting daily vehicle checks
- Maintaining professional communication with customers and the transport team
EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence
- Valid CPC Card
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Maximum 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)
- Minimum 1 year multi-drop delivery experience
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, flexible and professional attitude
- Comfortable with manual handling
