HGV CLASS 1 DRIVER DEPOT TO DEPOT TRUNKING / DAGENHAM
We are recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for a busy logistics operation based in Dagenham. This role involves depot-to-depot trunking with pre-loaded trailers and no multi-drop work.
This is ongoing work with competitive PAYE rates, enhanced weekend and Bank Holiday pay, and overtime available after 10 hours per shift. Immediate starts available.
Role: HGV Class 1 Driver (C+E)
Contract Type: Temporary / Ongoing
Shift Pattern: Night / Late shifts
Start Times: Between 12:00 22:00
Minimum Pay: 8 hours guaranteed per shift

Basic Hourly Rate: £19.71

RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES
Depot-to-depot trunking runs (no multi-drop)
Driving HGV Class 1 (C+E) box trailers
Pre-loaded trailers no handballing required
Completing vehicle checks and required paperwork
Working in line with EU driving and working time regulations
Maintaining professional communication with the transport team
EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence
Valid CPC Card
Digital Tachograph Card
Maximum 6 penalty points (minor offences only)
Previous trunking experience preferred
Reliable, punctual and professional
