THE ROLE
Complex Recruitment are currently seeking a professional HGV Class 1 Driver with flexibility to operate Class 2 vehicles when required. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established logistics company offering consistent work, excellent earning potential, and a secure position within a respected organisation.
Main Duties:
- Safely operate HGV Class 1 (C+E) vehicles, and Class 2 (C) vehicles when necessary
- Complete multi-drop deliveries, including occasional overnight runs
- Carry out pre- and post-vehicle checks, reporting any defects promptly
- Load and unload goods in line with company safety procedures
- Complete delivery paperwork accurately and efficiently
- Adhere to UK Road Transport Legislation, including driver hours and tachograph compliance
- Represent the company professionally, providing excellent customer service at all times
REQUIREMENTS
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence (with entitlement to drive Class 2 vehicles)
- Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous multi-drop delivery experience desirable
- Willingness to undertake overnight trips when scheduled
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious with a positive work ethic
