We are recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 (Category C) Drivers for a well-established logistics operation based in Tottenham (N17). This role involves multi-drop deliveries of kegs and beverage supplies to pubs, restaurants and hotels, working alongside a driver's mate. Immediate starts available.
Role: HGV Class 2 Driver (Category C)
Contract Type: Temporary / Ongoing
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday
Start Time: 06:00 AM
Hours: Approximately 45 hours per week
PAY
- Standard Rate
- Weekday (Mon-Fri) Basic Hourly Rate: £17.32
- Holiday Pay (Rolled Up): £2.41
- Total Hourly Pay (Inclusive): £19.73
- Basic Hourly Rate: £25.98
- Holiday Pay (Rolled Up): £3.65
- Total Hourly Pay (Inclusive): £29.63
RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES
- Completing 12-18 deliveries per shift
- Delivering kegs and beverage supplies to pubs, restaurants and hotels
- Working alongside a driver's mate during deliveries
- Using a sack barrow and pump truck to assist with unloading
- Conducting daily vehicle safety checks
- Ensuring delivery paperwork is completed accurately
- Maintaining professional communication with customers and the transport office
EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence
- Valid CPC Card
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum 1 year multi-drop delivery experience
- Maximum 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)
- Reliable, flexible and professional attitude
- Comfortable with manual handling during deliveries
