Job Description

7.5T DRIVER WHITE GOODS DELIVERY / GRAYS (RM20)

We are recruiting experienced 7.5T Drivers for a well-established home delivery and logistics operation based in Grays (RM20). This role involves two-person deliveries of white goods directly to customer homes.

This is an ongoing opportunity offering consistent work with immediate starts available.

Role: 7.5T Driver
Contract Type: Temporary / Ongoing
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday (Saturdays may be required)
Start Time: 06:00 AM

PAY

Standard Rate Weekday (MonFri)

Basic Hourly Rate: £16.50
Holiday Pay (Rolled Up): £2.30
Total Hourly Pay (Inclusive): £18.80

Overtime Rate (After 9 Hours Per Shift)

Basic Hourly Rate: £23.50
Holiday Pay (Rolled Up): £2.84
Total Hourly Pay (Inclusive): £26.34

Break Deduction: 45 minutes unpaid after 8 hours
Pay Frequency: Weekly

RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES

Driving a 7.5T vehicle for home delivery routes
Completing deliveries of white goods (e.g. fridges, washing machines, cookers)
Working alongside a drivers mate or porter
Delivering and positioning goods inside customer homes
Using tail lifts and trolleys for safe unloading
Providing professional and friendly customer service
Completing delivery paperwork and confirmations
Conducting daily vehicle checks

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Full UK 7.5T (C1) Licence
Valid CPC Card
Digital Tachograph Card
Maximum 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)
Previous multi-drop or white goods delivery experience preferred
Strong customer service and communication skills
Physically fit and capable of manual handling
Reliable, punctual and professional attitude
