The team consists of seasoned legal professionals with extensive expertise who work closely with clients as trusted partners to navigate the legal landscape successfully. We are looking for an enthusiastic Junior Developer to join our growing team. This entry-level position offers excellent opportunities for career development and hands-on experience across both software development and IT support. The role is hybrid in nature: you will work on Proclaim case management development, contribute to the development of modern web applications, and support general IT infrastructure and helpdesk activities. You will report to the Head of IT and receive mentorship and training while gaining exposure to a wide range of projects.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and customise solutions within the Proclaim case management system to meet business requirements
- Contribute to the design and development of web applications, including frontend and backend components
- Participate in the full development lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment
- Write clean, maintainable code following established coding standards and best practices
- Create and maintain technical documentation
- Contribute to code reviews and collaborative development processes
- Help maintain and support existing applications and systems
- Provide helpdesk support for staff, troubleshooting issues and assisting with PC setup/configuration
- Assist with infrastructure support including Microsoft Entra and related IT systems
- Bring a fresh set of eyes and forward-thinking ideas
- Participate in training programs and professional development opportunities
- Stay current with emerging technologies and development methodologies
- Build skills in both software engineering and IT operations

- Experience with Proclaim case management system or similar legal software (comprehensive training will be provided regardless of experience level)
- Formal qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Knowledge of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, Javascript, React, Typescript, Tailwind, Python, Flask or REST APIs
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
- Knowledge of LLM’s and CLI coding tools (Codex, Claude code, etc.)
- Understanding of agile development methodologies, DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Previous internship or work experience in software development
- Understanding of legal sector workflows and case management processes
