Complex Law is a fast-growing legal practice recognised for its dynamic approach and client-first ethos. As we continue our unprecedented growth, we are expanding our First Response Department to ensure we provide timely, professional, and effective support to every client from first contact.

The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Legal Support Associate to join our First Response Team. This is a key role for someone who enjoys speaking to people, thrives in a busy environment, and is passionate about starting (or progressing) a career in the legal profession. This role is ideal for candidates with a call centre or customer service background, or those looking for their first step into the legal industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for all incoming calls and client enquiries
  • Respond promptly and professionally to email queries
  • Carry out routine file audits and assist in maintaining data accuracy
  • Check and verify client identification and other legal documentation
  • Log, update, and manage client information using internal systems
  • Work collaboratively with legal teams to ensure smooth case handovers
  • Provide administrative and clerical support to the wider business as required
  • Uphold the firm's commitment to exceptional client care and confidentiality

What We’re Looking For

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Confident phone manner and strong interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Strong IT literacy, including email, document handling, and case management systems
  • A proactive and team-oriented mindset
  • Previous customer service or call centre experience is highly desirable
  • No previous legal experience required – full training will be provided
