We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Healthcare Assistant (HCA) to join our night team. This is a community-based role involving travel between multiple clients' homes throughout the night, so a full driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.

The Role

We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Health Care Assistants to join our team in Tameside. You will support individuals with complex health needs, helping them to live safely and comfortably while promoting independence and dignity. This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same. You will play a key part in delivering tailored care packages and building meaningful relationships with the people you support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing person-centred care and support during night visits
  • Assisting with repositioning and pressure area care
  • Conducting medication checks and ensuring medications are taken as prescribed
  • Monitoring and recording fluid intake and hydration
  • Supporting clients with comfort, safety, and wellbeing throughout the night
  • Maintaining accurate care records and reporting any concerns
