Join Our Nurse-Led Complex Care Team

Complex Care Professionals Ltd is a specialist, nurse-led provider of high-quality complex care services across the North West. We are expanding our team in Burnley and are looking for compassionate, dedicated and experienced Support Workers to provide exceptional one-to-one care for an adult living in their own home. This is a rewarding opportunity to support an individual with a spinal cord injury, helping them maintain their independence while receiving outstanding clinical and personal care.

Whether you already have experience in spinal injury care or are looking to develop your clinical skills within complex care, we'll provide comprehensive specialist training, ongoing competency assessments and continuous support from our experienced Registered Nurse team.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Deliver person-centred care tailored to the individual's needs, including:
    • Personal care and support with daily living activities
    • Specialist moving and handling
    • Bowel management
    • Catheter care
    • Medication support and administration
    • Pressure area care
    • Monitoring for signs of Autonomic Dysreflexia
    • Supporting rehabilitation goals and community access
    • Maintaining accurate electronic care records
    • Working collaboratively with our Registered Nurses and multidisciplinary team

Shift Patterns

We offer a range of flexible shift patterns, including:

  • Day shifts
  • Evening shifts
  • Waking nights
  • Weekend shifts

Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available.

About You

Essential

  • At least 12 months' experience in a care or support role
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A caring, compassionate and professional approach
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care

Desirable

  • Experience supporting individuals with spinal cord injuries
  • Previous complex care experience
  • Knowledge of bowel management, catheter care and medication administration
  • Moving and Handling training
  • Full UK driving licence (preferred but not essential)
