The Role

As Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership, performance and regulatory compliance of the service. You will work closely with the Directors, Area Manager, Strategy & Compliance Manager, Branch Nurse and Care Coordination teams to ensure the delivery of safe, effective and high-quality care. This role offers the opportunity to influence operational strategy, support business growth and play a key role in the future development of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership and Management
    • Lead and inspire office and care staff to deliver outstanding care services.
    • Create a positive, high-performing culture that supports staff development and retention.
    • Manage and develop office-based teams through supervision, coaching and performance management.
    • Ensure staffing levels are sufficient to meet the needs of the service.
  • Quality and Compliance
    • Maintain compliance with CQC regulations and all relevant legislation.
    • Drive continuous quality improvement throughout the service.
    • Monitor service performance through audits, quality assurance processes and key performance indicators.
    • Lead investigations relating to incidents, complaints and safeguarding concerns.
    • Ensure policies and procedures remain current and effective.
  • Operational Management
    • Oversee day-to-day service delivery and operational performance.
    • Ensure effective care planning, rostering and service coordination.
    • Participate in and support the on-call arrangements.
    • Maintain effective systems and processes to support business operations.
  • Business Development and Growth
    • Support the continued growth of the organisation through relationship building and excellent service delivery.
    • Develop positive relationships with clients, families, healthcare professionals, commissioners and external stakeholders.
    • Represent the organisation professionally at meetings, networking events and partnership forums.
    • Contribute to strategic planning and achievement of business objectives.

About You

We are looking for a confident and motivated leader who is passionate about delivering high-quality care.

Essential

  • Previous experience as a Registered Manager, Deputy Manager or Senior Manager within domiciliary care
  • Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and quality standards
  • Proven leadership and people management skills
  • Experience managing care services, compliance and operational performance
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
  • Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle

Desirable

  • NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Adult Care (or willingness to work towards)
  • Experience within complex care, continuing healthcare or specialist care services
  • Experience working with commissioners, ICBs and healthcare professionals
  • Understanding of business development and service growth
