We are looking for an organised, proactive and detail-focused Recruitment & Compliance Administrator to join our centralised recruitment team in Rochdale. You will play a key role in ensuring candidates are fully compliant before starting employment and that employee records remain accurate and up to date.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Health Care Assistant recruitment administration and onboarding.
  • Complete and monitor DBS, Right to Work, identity and reference checks.
  • Chase and resolve outstanding compliance information.
  • Maintain accurate candidate and employee records on People Planner.
  • Upload and maintain recruitment, compliance and training documentation.
  • Administer mandatory training and monitor expiry dates.
  • Maintain compliance trackers and support internal audits.
  • Prepare and maintain employee files.
  • Ensure all information is handled in line with GDPR and confidentiality requirements.
  • Provide administrative support to the Recruitment Manager and wider recruitment team.

About You

We are looking for someone with:

  • Previous administrative experience, ideally within recruitment, HR or a regulated environment.
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Experience handling confidential information.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence following up outstanding information.
  • A proactive, professional and trustworthy approach.
  • Drive and have access to your own car.

Desirable:

  • Experience with DBS, Right to Work checks, references, People Planner/ATS systems, mandatory training or health and social care recruitment.
